Community
and Services

Our Discord community is 400+ strong and constantly growing. We welcome stalwart industry veterans and newcomers alike, and every member is happy to share the experience they have gained. One of our services is offering our members table space at conventions they wouldn't otherwise be able to attend. We have a table at UKGE and Dragonmeet every year, and are always looking for new shows we can take our members' wares to.We also offer regular seminars in the form of TIN Talks: hour-long presentations on a wide variety of topics that include question-and-answer sessions, and are recorded for later enjoyment. These recordings, both video and audio, are made available to our community members, along with the presentation and any relevant links, via a Google Drive folder. As we are a national organisation, we have several Chapters that hold monthly meet ups, the details for which are found in our monthly newsletter. Our current Chapters are:
- London
- Scotland (meeting in Glasgow)
- North England (meeting in Manchester)
- East (meeting in Norwich)
- Creatives of Colour (a PoC-exclusive Chapter that holds an online meetup)
We also host regular daytime and weekend digital coffee mornings to share stories, advice, and generally get to know each other.
If you like the sound of any of the above, please subscribe to our newsletter and follow the Discord invite link within it.If you have any skills you feel would benefit the community, or UK TIN itself, please let us know by emailing [email protected]. We are always looking for ways to better serve our members and increase our reach.
